Blue Coast Burrito in Cookeville

I love the healthy and fresh options!

By far my favorite place to eat in Cookeville!I have to eat gluten free and they go above and beyond to make sure it's safe for me. The food is awesome, but the staff is even more amazing!

I will never come back. I ordered a burrito with chicken and after having like two bites, I realized something was off about the chicken. Being pregnant, I just wanted my money back so I could go somewhere else to eat something I would actually enjoy. When I asked for my money back, they said no and decided to make me a steak burrito with whatever they wanted. They didn't ask me if steak was okay, or what I wanted in my burrito, they just made me what they wanted. This place is a joke. Don't eat here. Don't bother giving this place your money. It's not worth it.

It's our Thursday night spot. The staff are always so friendly and the food is fresh and delicious! One of our kids favorite spots. There's something for everyone!

This is my new favorite place. Very authentic surprising. Double tortillas. Great shrimp and fish tacos. If you want a fresh experience and to ty something new, this is the place.

Best burritos EVER, had a vegetarian burrito. Words can't explain how good it was. Friendly staff and Great atmosphere. Have to go back whenever I'm here and it has to be this one....

I had the fish tacos and they were delicious! Crispy little nuggets of fried fish joy DOUBLE wrapped in corn tortillas. Not only that, but the sauce was so zesty and creamy that I wanted to ask for the recipe. Top marks, would definitely come back again!!!

There has been a steady decline in the quality of not only food but in service. The last 3 times the food has been cold and the dining area was destroyed. Given the variation in times for my visit spanning from before noon to around 8 pm there needs to be a qualified supervisor on site at all times. Portions are all over the place, depending on who you get depends on what you get, literally. I would not recommend wasting your time or money here any longer. Lost a 3x a week customer for horrible customer service and cold food

Now hear me out. 3 out of 5 isn't exactly good but it's not horrible. Everything seemed fresh and the staff was very polite. I just thought everything was bland. I like a lot of spice and intense flavors. The chicken (red) had virtually no flavor. I did like the tomatillo salsa. My wife likes less intense flavors are thought the burritos were delicious. She liked (surprisingly) the pineapple salsa. She said she'd rate it higher than me. So take it for what it is! Worth a try.

The food is always fresh and delicious. Friendly employees that greet you every time you walk in. The line is usually long, but don't let that keep you from their Amazing food, because the line moves very fast, and their delicious food is worth the wait. They have a variety of homemade Salas at their Salsa bar, from mild to extreme 🔥 provide something for everyone. Also all their food is well proportion for a very reasonable food. Love this place.

Blue coast is a great chain-style restaurant with a family-owned style of service and attention. Expect them to learn your name and order quickly. The folks here are just great.

Fast, friendly service and a solid place to get inexpensive burritos and tacos. Had the fish tacos, 3 for $7.45, and I was satisfied. Interior is showing some age but otherwise clean.

Blue Coast is my favorite "Mexican" restaurant. They have buffet style service. You select your own ingredients and sides. I fell in love with quesadillas while working in Nashville and theirs is awesome. Blue Coast is one of the few Mexican style restaurants I would rate 5 star.

The food was delicious. They had a salsa bar which was really neat. We all enjoyed our food. It was a little more than what we normally spend at Chipotle but there was a free salsa bar. Wish they'd point that out as we didn't notice it until we were leaving and would have liked to try it out.

Blue Coast is the best place to get fresh made to order food. If you're not familiar, it's similar in premise to a Subway. Pick your entrees, then build what you want. That's where the similarities end though. Blue Coast is delicious, and the staff is always great. Also, their signature tea is hands down the best tea ever... anywhere...did I say ever?

Love the cabo bowls, and the spinach wrap option. Always friendly service and clean restaurant.

This is a very nice, clean, place to go for quick meal with good food. The place is clean and the people working there are very friendly, and quick. You will also find yourself with a very generous serving. They will also have a wide selection of choices to go on your servings. You can expect to spend about $10 per person, more or less. And you will get your money's worth.

Really good. Has a small steak burrito and was impressed. Perfect size and the price was great. I moat def recommend Blue Coast. The salsa bar was great too.. pineapple salsa is a game changer lol

Delicious semi-fast food joint right off I-40! If you like Chipotle, Moe's, or Qdoba, definitely check this place out. Their queso is delicious and they have a Salsa bar featuring 4 varieties of salsa: Hot, Mild, Green, and Pineapple. The Chipotle ranch and corn salsa compliment each other so well and the shredded chicken tastes like it has been slow-stewed for hours. It melts in your mouth! Fun surf-themed decor creates a casual vacation-like vibe that is so cool. Friendly employees, clean restaurant!

BCB never lets us down. We love their salsa! They have a wide variety of options to choose from and they have such a great staff. Join their mailing club and they will send coupons! 10/10 Cookeville natives/Tech students would recommend.

Ive never had anything I didn't absolutely enjoy from this place. I can't wait till the salsa bar opens back up!! Delicious food and the only fruit tea I'll ever enjoy.

Really enjoyed my meal here. I got the nachos with LaTinga chicken and tons of other fresh ingredients, fantastic. The queso was good, as was the delicious pineapple salsa. The only thing I didn't care for was the steak taco, as the meat was too tough for my taste. I will definitely be back again.

Skip this BCB and wait until you get to Nashville. 1.1% of Putnam County has COVID-19, and not a single employee was wearing a mask. Some weren't even wearing gloves. I should have walked out. But I didn't, and a girl who was high as a kite took my order for two fish burritos made "down the line," so she wrote down what should go in them. When I got to my destination to eat one, I realized they were both made Baja style. I can't eat cilantro, so I had two useless burritos.

The office I work at placed a to-go order for lunch. Though there were several food orders, none of them had special requests or difficult instructions beyond the typical "no rice" or "add guacamole." ALL but one of the orders was wrong and none of the extra requests were provided. I could certainly provide specific complaints, but a blanket for poor service pertaining to to-go orders is probably sufficient.

Don't waste your time ordering online or the curbside delivery. They never came out. 15 min after the appointment time, I went in and they had not started preparing my food. The food somewhat tasty but overpriced.

Gotta Love this place, i meant to finish my review the other day. Great salsa and all you can eat in one meal with some for later.

So glad a friend invited me to eat here with her. I am now hooked! I love the food and the menu choices. The smiling faces that serve you are amazing too!! Might I also add, if you are doing Keto, this is a great place to eat!!

LOVE, LOVE, Love eating at Blue Coast. I have special dietary needs and the staff are always accommodating. The owner even mentioned to me to get on the rewards program when I was eating there so often. Blue Coast is one of few that I can actually dine at that I don't worry much about getting cross contaminated with gluten. They take special care to make sure that my food is prepared separate from the others because of the special needs. My son loves their steak nachos. The serving size is awesome. I can usually eat one of their taco salads and not be close to hungry until way later. Thanks Blue Coast for excellent customer service and awesome food.

Food and price was good! We ordered via phone and they said 15-20min. We waited 15 min and my hubby went to get it. He got in there and they totally ignored him and then finally someone asked him and he said we called in an order. For what ever reason those young girls did that to him I have no idea. They need to fix that! I will go back and eat there!!!
